The village of LLandulas lies beneath the limestone hill of Cefn-yr-Ogof (669 ft). This hill has large caves, and quarrying of limestone was formerly the main industry of the village, with crushed stone being exported from the 200 m long jetty. The jetty which is owned by Hanson Aggregates, was closed in 1993.
A lot of corrosion is evident and careful treading is required but a great explore with a lot to see with the site spreading from Abergele rd down under the A55 expressway to the jetty.

This is such a beauty! Great to see some more of it. Nice pics, Kevsy.
I really must get off my bum and do some more quarries...I'm getting withdrawal symptoms!
