This building has been in my local area since i was young and i have always wanted to stand on top of it as it's the highest building in the area by far. It has been empty for about a year so i finally took a wander down there and found a way in. I looked for history but i couldnt find any, only the local council framework for development of the building. Was used as office space for a number of years but now empty, the way in is quite hidden so i hope the chavs dont ruin this site yet. The sight from the roof is awesome!

I love that you got to fulfil your childhood dream! Although it fairly plain inside, the shear emptiness and openess make it eerie! That stairwell seems twice the height of the building!

excellent pics, i wonder if there might be plans afoot for redevelopment......hope not though, well done :)
