Took my new apprentice out for his first explore, and visited this place whilst at Rutland College. The college itself is due to be demolished soon, but I am not sure of the fate of the house. It has been hit with firebugs a couple of times, and is now in a bit of a sorry state. It would be a shame for it to go.

Unfortunately my new camera was away being fixed so these are on the old camera. Explored with Jamo22.

The Rutland college itself closed in September 2012, after relocating to a new site. It was a sixth form college mostly for A levels, for students aged 16-19.Lonsdale House was the halls of residence for students at the college, which closed several years previously. The site has now been sold to a supermarket, and the college will be demolished.
