Was tootling along the A 92 betwix Arbroath and Montrose over the cristmas holidays when i spotted this place through the trees .

is what appears to be a yard used for restoration of hgvs knocked on at the house adjacent but noone home so wasnt able to get any more info . anyway on with the pics

the Atkinson truck that first atracted my atention

Very nice place and very nice pictures. Is it a junkyard or a place for truck etc to be restored.
 
Nice find, Central Motors of Carlisle are still going I believe, the lorry in a bad state is a civvied AEC Millitant.:)
 
Nice find Peanuts, I like that Akti, and the AEC Millitant has certainly seen better days, but I have seen worse restored!! Shame about the fuzz turning up :-(

its right on the main road so think they were just driving past saw me and stopped to investigate .good pair of lads acepted my explanation had got my pics so left it at that one along with some other stuff in the area to return to .

I think the guy who owns these is a timber contractor - there are often Ford County or Valmet extraction machines sitting around as well.
