The door of the Lower Fort St. Elmo en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fort_Saint_Elmo, Valetta, Malta were open so we ventured in . When exiting we found the "Do not enter sign", also pictured. In any case there were some people inside, either squatters or teenagers.
We could go from one side of the fort to the other on the lower ground and came back via the upper platform .Other areas have been done up such as the war museum .
The places we went through were derelict alright since the war apparently, there were some consolidating works but didn't seem to be anything going on when we visited.
