I work for the company that adjoins this property, when denso left they asked security to keep an eye on the place, since then alot of goodrich employees were going in and getting photos of the old place and bits and pieces. The history bit which I have learnt from various people is that it used to belong to the Lucas empire. It is also known by the name BW5, a useful site on the history of this building is the Lucas memories website. Anyway after lucas left it went to magnetti marelli and then to Denso. Here are my photos before the pikeys went in and tore it to buggery.

Dude, I was only driving around here by the old multi storey car park last night, looking for access!!!!! Small world! Couldn't see a way in from th car tho. Nice big site, can't wait to see the pics, and give me the push I need to get in there!!!!!:)

Excellent internet skills! :p
Did they make diesel injector pumps there? Are you sure it was Denso and not Delphi? Delphi was the one mixed up with Lucas, whereas I think Denso is Japanese.

Denso make very sticky tape for the gas/building industries, pipe fitting ect. Horrid to use but effective!!

Denso tape. Hmmm. Thank goodness somebody went and invented self amalg.

Have you tried climbing down a telecomms tower with Denso fingers? Urrgghhhhh!!!!

Denso shifted certain production over to Telford, but only spark plug production. As for the rest, I'm not too sure

This site was used to produce wound motors and starter motors over anything else. The spark plug devision is still in telford, and then they have a plant in Minworth too. Not sure what they do there......
