Malvernbury Nursing Home

Whilst out exploring some other local finds i came aross this place down a windey road nestled amongst trees, it is covered in beautiful red ivy and literally looks as if its been abandoned over night.The insides are virtually intact and the local pikeys have been in but left in a hurry obviously..for now. its not my usual explore as its rather new only being shut what i presume a year or so. Apologies for poor photos i had no tripod a flashing battery and not my usual camera. i also hope ive done this all right as its my first post! any critisism is welcome, thankyou for reading.

Nice find, you got any history on the place? Has it always been a nursing home?

Looks like there's alot of intresting objects in there, thats allways just as good as decay imo.

i was so limited for time so it was more like a mad dash than anything,the attic area is so quaint as well, im going to try and dig some history out about the place also and will nip back in at some point to have a proper look about and get some decent pics. and thankyou

Completely agree with you!! The plods wont go near them so basically they do whatever they like

Malvernbury care home.

Went here yesterday. Feels very strange as if the people will turn up from their day out. Bit ff graffiti on the walls but not alot. I will go back to take photos as there is lots more to see. Really weird to see the light on in the basement. Lots to discover in this place. Excellent old building to have a mooch aroind. Photos soon...

its because i have had too many viwes on the web as im on a few sites!!! grrrr!! and they remove your photos until a fresh month starts or you go pro, photobucket pain in the @@@@! changed to flikr now. lots and lots to see in malvern, did the circuit about 6 weeks ago, some brill places, college, gym, boarding school, st annes, incinerator ww2 camp lots!! have fun

Ahh right, that might happen to my photo's soon then as i'm using photobucket too. Never mind I've seen it with my own eyes now but didnt manage to go to any of the other places as it was getting dark and I had an hour drive ahead of me. I want to go back at some point and make a day of it
