I'd seen Mayfield coming into the current serving station, Piccadilly, many-a-time. Finally got into the site a while back, really impressive from outside & in. The Depot downstairs is cavernous with some offices at the far side but the old Station upstairs is really incredible.

I've had this on my to do list for nigh on twelve months now but I was p-ut off by a report of scrotes getting heavy with an explorer there AND the fact that trespass on a railway IS a crime (unlike elsewhere). Hmmm... food for thought.

Nope....went with a pal, didn't see a soul although evidence of homeless. Security has been stepped up since, entrance to the site would now be very difficult.
