Mid Wales Hospital, Talgarth, Breconshire, April 2008

Well I thought it was about time i checked out Mid Wales and as i was in the area i went and had a look for a few hrs.
I was impressed it was a bit bigger than it looked when i first got there.

Mid Wales Hospital opened on the 18th of February 1903 and closed on the 7th of April 2000.
The layout is Compact arrow plan and the Architects were John Giles, Albert Edward Gough and Trollope, of London.

I enjoyed that, thank you the building looks in pretty good nick seeing as its been empty since 2000.

I passed here a while ago and stopped in the car park for lunch. Didnt go in as didnt want to risk getting nicked while I was at work.
Must go back for a proper look soon.
Some parts of the site are live though with small businesses running in them.
