Hello everybody,
this is my first photo post here, so please forgive me any mistakes I may make.
Anyway, the building used to be 4-story with a café on the ground floor called U mlsnýho kocoura (The Fastidious Cat), the other three stories were presumably flats of some kind. The building has been abandoned since 2006 and slowly began to crumble. When I arrived, the roof was already gone and demolition work underway. There is a pile of rubble there now.
Not the most interesting building ever, but all my better photos were taken on an analog camera and I have to scan them before I can post them... sorry.
So, here goes the pictures:
This is what the building looks like. Roof and windows gone already.
The Fastidious Cat himself.
The entry has seen better times.
My personal favorite. Located just behind the front door, the note says "Lock the door during the night, please!" Kinda pointless now.
This used to be some sort of storage. A lot darker and damper than the rest of the building.
This used to be the office of the owner.
This was the kitchen.
The door to the café itself. Since the enormous piece of glass which separated the café from the (quite busy) street (with a cop station) was smashed out, I preferred not to enter.
Where No Guest Has Gone Before...
... oh yeah, everything punked out already.
Nothing to say. Demolition underway, move along.
Upon discovering that most of the 2nd and 3rd floor were completely devastated by demolition machines, i left the site. This is what is left from the top floor. Nothing.
These might be the last photographs of this building ever taken.
Well whatever... the next one will be better. Thanks for watching!
