Another pleasant diversion when walking in Wales. Battle wagon parked further down the valley near some castle remains. Visited those on the way back but as the weather was closing in rapidly it was just a quick peek. Walking up to The Chair I passed this place so stopped for a look. Inside there is a small memorial room/museum about Mary Jones and a Welsh bible....she walked further than me and didn't have the modern boots!

Reviewing an older map of the area afterwards I saw that there could be some other chapel remains only a few hundred yards away but I saw no sign of those. Something to look for if I go back to have a proper look at the castle remains.
 
.... next time try taking a shot from the pulpit gives a different perspective

Above is a small selection of the photos I took. I don't upload any others to a public flickr account. I think I have taken photos from the pulpit(s) of every church I've photographed bar one where a sign and cord requested people don't access it.
I don't often photograph the memorial stones outside churches unless they have a significance (to me) or some particularly interesting detail.
