This is ward 2 of morpeth cottage.

"In April 2008, the Trust relocated the rehabilitation beds to a specialist stroke unit at Wansbeck General Hospital.
Then three months ago, a new purpose-built facility, called the Whalton Unit, was opened in the Helen McArdle Care Home, Foxton Court. It has 30 single rooms and a therapy room for use by physio and occupational therapists."

This is a semi-live site, ward 2 which is now used for nothing but storage, is located on the upper floor of the main ward block, ward 1 has been converted into offices, 3 is the health centre and district nurses rooms and 4 is next to the porters lodge, so a bit too risky.

Theres a little bit of damp creeping in through the roof, and a lot of dust, but thats it! like i say though its a semi live site still used for storage of patients files so i guess the place would need to be kept in a reasonable state!

Where abouts in Morpeth? Is Entry easy?

Im afraid i dont easily give out details especially not in public, its easy to find the address in google and entry is passed a porters office, and 2 cctv camera's (dont know if they work or not) the dissused ward was on the top floor so no escape if your discovered. However, having said that, good luck.
