Another Mothballed railway station, Ballingarrane junction, Cappagh.co.Limerick

The saga of the Limerick to Foynes railway contnues. hers a few picsof what is known as Ballingarrane junction at Cappagh co.Limerick.its the junction of the north kerry line and the limerick to foyne s branch line
so is officilly ~Downgraded" or mothballed...Like its fit for purpose anyways haha.took mrs.faing with me just incase there was anydangrous stuff for to send her to photograph. the staton yard has a portakabin in it and one of the old good sheds is in use for some kind of oil distributon
its well derelict but the actual waiting room amd ofices is well locked up so no acces there to be had by me.
the stairs have ben removed in the signal box and its full of boxes of bateriys. accses to the uper level was not posible so all we got was a pic of the fireplace.
all in all a good place for a look round, well on its way to deroliction
enjoy our pics and tanx for lookin', good luck, Faing

Wonder if it is costing anything to keep these stations mothballed?

As before great pics
