My take on Severalls - June 2012

I've been looking forward to doing Severalls for a while now, and this morning I got taken on the tour by UE-OMJ......good thing too, as I'd have got very lost on my own! I don't think you really get the idea of how huge the place is until you've seen it for yourself

I'm sure everyone knows the history of this place by now, so I won't bother repeating it - I'll let the pics speak for themselves.....

Oh, and I have to own up to falling over into a big patch of mud and brambles, (cos if I don't, I'm sure OMJ will take immense glee in telling you!) ******* pesky brambles

It's a tiring business this exploring lark.......

The last thing we did was go round to the front gate to get pics of the sign, where there were some security guards who tried to tell us we couldn't do that......they were ok when we pointed out that we were on the public side of the fence and therefore could do what we liked
However, he was very keen to let us know that security was very tight, and that there was cctv everywhere on site, and that we'd "be spotted as soon as we went in, and police would be there pretty quick"
Funny that, as we'd been mooching round for the last 3 hours without seeing a soul - let alone any cameras! Didn't have the heart to tell him........

It's coming up soon but not this weekend, It's my getting older day tomorrow lol) so not exploring

Since I was at Sevs today with Bambii (yeh she did fall over again ) I took more photos, but this time I figured Id share a few of the more unusual/rarely seen photos rather than the usual bed, boutique, morgue, etc.

That place is huge, it's so easy to miss bits. I've only managed to find the dentist room once out of 4 trips.

Having seen your pics yesterday I can tell you that you were a door frame away from where the bed is!! Do you want a clue, or do you like the challenge of exploring and finding it for yourself?
