The History
Rather surprisingly I've been unable to find much information on this
place. It was Occupied by John Hood when he came to Lincolnshire from
Scotland and there was a fire in 1937. That's Pretty much as much as
I could find about the place.
The Explore
Visited on my way down to Lincoln for non Urbex reasons.
It's easy to find and get into. It sits there just a ruin clad in all
manor of vegitation looking like something from a filmset for a
Tombraider or Indiana Jones movie.
Despite it's ruinous state I enjoyed my peaceful wander around the place.
The Photos
All shot on my Canon 650D with the usual combo of lenses - Tamron 17-50mm
f2.8 and canon 10-22mm.
I couldn't be bothered with a tripod in this place so all shot ay pretty
high ISO, wide apertures and oft slowish shutter speeds -all adding up
to images that are a little below my usual standards.
