Not good. Kind of takes the 'sport' out of Urbex if it becomes popular, but I can't see it catching on quick and I can't see it filling with anything but very well known sites. I'm not sure why people keep wanting to do this whole dissemination of sites thing? It seems like they don't want to/can't be bothered to establish themselves in the Urbex community to network/make friends to explore with, don't actually have any appreciation/feelings towards buildings/history or they just want money or something? I'm sure it's not just a case of me wearing my "...rose tinted glasses..." as one crowbar wielding mong put it. Rant over :p

I think it's a really bad idea, but at least it seems to be just for iPhones at the moment, so that will exclude quite a few. I can see vandals etc using this app, but hopefully the 'real' urbexers won't add public locations to this.

I hate the way urbexing has become some kind of tourist day out for some, and I largely blame Facebook for that. I don't really know what the motive of some of the people who explore is really, as looking at their photos one wonders.

My rant over too. :p

I think I agree with slim..I think it will just be the most visited ones..personally I like to do my own research if I can..I do get given a lot nowadays too.but have found my fair share as well.I do a lot of networking with explorers..I just think an app would take the fun away for me.

Couldn't agree more. Im relatively new to it, but have been a few places that seem like a tourist trap!
Am guilty of posting on fb as I really like sharing my pics, but will only ever share with my friends list!

Is this app new? It looks terribly old? Shame the article doesn't have a date on it

I think the app is 3 years old I've heard. Haven't looked at it but I know it will be full of ****** derps.

Terible idea. At least its unpopular enough to have gone unnoticed by us lot for three years! :)

Even if it was popular, it would be easy enough to add so many false locations people stop using it. I like sharing locations with fellow explorers, but not to the general public.
