OK, so I said that the last visit would be my last, but never say never. I cannot get enough of this place, and its time is now limited. On the other side of the railway line, large hoardings are now in place rounds the derleict boiler house and labs and demo has begun

Pikeys have been in again since my last visit, lots of stripped cable, some smaller machines missing, and some random vandalism. The pattern shop is still well shored up and the woodworking shed is virtually collapsed.......oh, and still has that unforgettable smell!
