Sad to see that the stairs have been removed completely from the Occidental Jetty....the first explore to map what was to become a life of adventures for me. I'm sure some of you dare devils will find a way back up there eventually.

Any particular reason? Wasn't it a popular fishing spot? Never tried it myself - I think I suggested it years back, but never got round to even looking at it. If there's a will, there's a way though
Not heard news of a reason yet, I'm sure if someone had injured or fell off we would have heard something in the news.

Looks to be quite solid. I might have a go in the near future if I'm near-ish. Looks amazing on a foggy day! Thanks for the heads up on the removal of the stairs!
It is amazing on a foggy day. Especially when the fog horn is going at it. I look forward to your report if you ever make it here
