I've dated the place shutting down to 2005 based off the paperwork left behind. I was informed about this place by a very kind homeless man in an abandoned chapel that I was exploring with a friend. Currently the property is owned by The Union Pacific Railroad but there is a fenced off area still owned by Alcoa behind the treeline of the main area. Most photos were taken with my old Nikon D40 through either my adapted Rokkor-PF 55mm f/1.7 or my Nikkor AF 35-70mm f/3.3-4.5. I'll be making another trip back out there soon to do some videography with my Nikon D800 and Nikkor AF 50mm f/1.8D.I hope you all enjoy the photos that I have so far!
