Old Function Hall - June 2016

New & unexplored.

I was out to visit another abandoned location sometime last week. I went past what could have been an overgrown wooden building in the woods. So I stopped to take a look, successfully crossed the ditch guarded by stinging nettles & brambles. Sure enough, it was a derelict wooden church dating from the war, I found my entry point right from the start. What I found inside took me by surprise.

Nice work sir!!! I have to say that really wouldn't be my preferred booking for a function. But as cosy as anything . Reckon they had a drugs problem from the youngsters??

This was a church. Still having Sunday services until it closed. (Notices remain on the front of the board) This may have been a youth club as well so this could have been the remains of their closing party?

The one thing i love about urban exploring is you never know what to expect sometimes a jackpot - sometimes a complete surprise in many shapes and forms - for you this was a pleasant one and a really nice set.
