History and Info
Overstone hall is a grade II listed building on the outskirts of Northampton. It had 119 rooms and is surrounded by 35 acres of parkland and grounds. In 2001 a catastrophic fire destroyed 50% of the Hall and over the last 15 years the other half has deteriorated through vandalism and weather. In 2015 Barry Howard Homes purchased the Hall with the absolute intentions of saving and restoring it. With the assistance of a number of bodies including Daventry District Council, the OH Action Group, The Residents Association and Overstone Parish Council detailed plans are being drawn up to save the Hall. A small Army of Consultants are engaged in the detail of the task ahead.
The explore was undisturbed and a complete walk in.
Photos are all on phone as per usual for me.
