Not much history of Parkside Hotel, apart from the original buildings prior to the Hotel, which consisted of a 2 storey farmhouse that was said the be Grade II listed, as well as the Barn.
The annex was over 200 years old. We have since found that it was the original Park Side Farm which is on an old map of the area dating back to 1892.
The Hotel and bar closed its doors in 2009 and has since been left to decay with a fire in jan 2012 destroying part of the building and now vandels have wrecked most of it and the pikeys have been on taking pipes and cables.
View from the road
Remains of the stage in the large function room.
The parkside disco must have been a disco inferno!!!
Pizza oven just dumped on the loor in the kitchen.
Most of the equipment in the cellar is still in there.
Was gonna have a bath but wasnt any soap or a towel.
The part destroyed by fire maybe wouldnt have been as bad if the fire door was closed!!
More things left in the cellar.
Bar in main function room.
Do you scrunch or fold.
So glad this wasnt set.
Disco lights just left behind.
View from the upstairs hotel patio area.
More things left behind.
its my god given right to have a cig!!!
The stables at the rear.
Im sure the health and safety guy wont like that!!
I wonder if it was any good??
the conservatory that joins the main building to the barn function room.
didnt work maybe they didnt pay the bill!!
The main bar.
None of these was for the safe :icon_evil
