Hi, guys not been on here in a long time, hope everyone's doing okay :)
I've not been exploring too much recently, been busy moving house amongst other stuff, but all sorted now, so hopefully will get out again soon.

This is just a little one from last year...

Peel to Douglas Railway

The railwayline between Peel and Douglas was opened on July 1st 1873, and served as both a passenger and freight service up until its closure after the season of 1968.
A few small buildings, the bridges, viaducts and some pieces of track still remain.
The path is now commonly used by walkers.

Pictures were taken at various times between the start and end of 2010.

some great shots there. has anyone managed to get into the hotel on the prom, for the life of me i can't remember its name!!!! it closed about 3 years ago ish. it's annoying me that i can't think of the name!!!!

I really can't understand how a major attaction like the steam railway was allowed to close.

If the Peel - Douglas line ever reopens I will be one of the first to ride on it!
