Nice report HughieD ..... Have done this place many times and your report, as always, certainly does it justice ..... Regarding the mystery object that you found it is a power controller for an electric motor (Very similar to British Rails diesel loco controllers) I havent seen this one at the quarry before but it could have something to do with the Blondin winches but i dont think they were to that design ......
