OK so the hubby and myself still need to go on our mission and after being rumbled down the road, headed to this place... Its a beautiful place right on the Anglesey coastline, before we could get to the quarry I had to pay the nice chap at the toll booth 2.50 ( included access to the abbey and Penmon lighthouse too ) but my mission was to get to the quarry, asked him if anyone would mind, the answer was no and he even pointed us in the best direction.... also gave me some gossip on Mr Steel Toecaps form the Saunders-Roe factory : ) I love locals!!!! Before we headed off the track I decided to get a couple of shots of the abbeys dovecot... the abbey itself is open to the public! I don't know much about the history of the quarry, but I do know it supplied The Brickworks further down the lane... ( yet to explore ) It can get very very windy up there so be careful if visiting.... sheer drops too! Today happened to be one of those very windy days! Epic! On with the pics : )

A quick jump over the gate, short walk through a field and we arrive at our costal quarry.... I wouldnt advise trying to get inside this place at all, you may see why soon....

As you can see in this pic, the whole building is starting to subside towards the sea, I'm no chicken, but was not going to trust the ground under me in this place and would advise anyone else visiting to keep out of the main building itself for safety thanks for looking
