Think the place has been on here before. One problem I have with one of the photo's. I can see your feet. Now they look quite cute but you really should wear boots to cover up as those cute little toes could get squelched if something fell on them. Nice photo's BTW.:)

Night crawler took the words out of my mouth! get yourself some boots- rusty nails or glass or worse still siringe needles through the foot are very bad news.

Glad you've removed the location. I've got 50 Urbex points for the first male explorer to post a pic of painted toes on location! Lol. On a serious note that place has some awesome artefacts still left. Proper time capsule. Thanks for sharing some fantastic photos of somewhere 99% of us will never visit! :)

Thanks for removing the location, the chap who stores some of his collection of wireless spares there will undoubtedly appreciate it.

The site was originally one of the dispersed accommodation sites for the nearly airfield, and was converted to a PoW camp towards the end of WWII. This meant the original timber and plasterboard barrack huts on the site had to be replaced with blockwork huts more suitable to prevent the occupants from breaking out.

All the best,
PB
