This is my take (my first take) on probably the most visited site on this, and many other Urbex forums. Its fantastic!!!!! Kinda gutted we never made Cell 3 or 4 and looking at some of the other posts, looks like we missed a lot, but there will be a next time.
There have been so many reports on this place, so I won't add anything else history wise. Just check some of the earlier reports here; http://www.derelictplaces.co.uk/main/showthread.php?t=20719&highlight=pyestock
So, this being my first trip to Pyestock, I was obviously busting with enthusiasm to get there and as the day promised to be bright and clear, we decided to head down on the first train out of Waterloo to arrive much before sunrise, find an entry point and be able to shot the spectacular pipe works at first light. However, as things happen, it did not turn out to be so straightforward! A bizarre train delay kept us at Woking for 30 minutes whilst they evacuated the train in front due to a fire and with no clear idea of when we'd be moving again we decided to take a hit on a cab to Fleet with the sun already rising!
Once we made it to the site and with still plenty of great light about, the task of actually getting in hit us hard with the realisation that secca our actually doing a good job and have secured many of the of gaps under the fence. After a good hour of walking around the site with the red morning light just slipping off the air house and our panicky attempts seemingly becoming more desperate, we found our route in, at 9am! We left at 4.45am!
We very nearly got busted immediately and I swear that the security guard saw the 2 of us sheltering behind a metal storage tank as he stood on the other side throwing stones at the roof for 5 minutes! Very odd! He then wandered off, leaving us to our day and the uber explore!
The pictures.........................
As you can see from the pictures we missed a lot and I don't think I have done the scale of the place justice at all, but it just gives me great excuse to revisit and get what was missed!
Thanks for looking
