Don't believe anyone has posted photos from here yet so here goes. the place was due demolition, but there was a problem with planning permission, so it has a while left, although asbestos has started to be stripped from the place. quite a lot to see, including three operating theatres, x-ray, wards and a decent set of stairs.

what made this different was the no expense spared decoration all over the wards, including scooby doo freezes, maps to winnie the pooh's house, octopuses. even done on the roof of the operating theatre preparation rooms, as obviously the patients would be on their backs, nice touch

Really, really like this. Love seeing childrens wards and operating theatres. Wish this thread had been up before i took my little one into hospital late last year, might have calmed me down a little more.

Looks in excellent condition, really liked seeing all the pictures on the walls and the operating theatre (couldn't go in the one she was in lol). and liked the sticker on the glass, "smiling makes me better" one.
