This is all that remains of R.A.F. Church Lawford in Warwickshire, the control tower and another smaller building next to it. The majority of the site is now a quarry and a small industrial estate. Here are a few images of my visit.
The control tower.

If you ever visit and go on the roof watch out for the hole in the roof

Nice find Mancha - not far from me. Thought that all the remains had been destroyed by quarrying or the subsequent landfill.

Thought Id add these here :)

I visited this place recently and thought I would add my photos to this post rather than making a whole new one :) It doesnt show on these photos that it was freezing cold (I reckoned my fingers were going to fall off) and it was also raining but definately worth the visit.

Great stuff I-rose. I was up at the Exel vehicle compound there this week.

It's as bleak as anywhere you will find in Warwickshire (not a county noted for it's bleakness).

That landfill site is huge now!!

There's an ROC place but it's within the satellite compound

and a pillbox right next to the road
