RAF Harlaxton and it's Surroundings -July 2008

So a mate and I decided to meet up and go upto to visit the Grantham AAA Battery, Grantham ROC post, RAF Harlaxton and the Decontamination Hospital.

Our first stop was the AAA battery, with me going in.

Next stop was the Grantham ROC post. I think that we were the first visit since some a-hole decided to set fire to it.
So heres my descend down the ladder.

And this was my first view inside the post.

Scorched documents in the desk.

The melted insulation off the walls.

And a shot of me that my mate took.

After a very short drive we arrived at the former RAF Harlaxton.

This is a shot from what looks like to be some sort of workshop.

Heres a shot from inside of the building.

And our final stop was the Decontamination Hospital.

I'm not sure weather the person who i visited with is a member here!

Wow, that's one grungy looking roc post. Touched by the hand of Chav no doubt. Pleased to see that Nationwide Security are on the ball as well. Interesting stuff, thanx for posting.

Ive been to the RAF base many times and NEVER seen a member of security there!
