a site not far from me the control tower is now a house,the airfield was used mostly by lysanders dropping agents of into occupied europe,in a copse next to the airfield is the air raid shelters,heres some pics of my nippers exploring:

This the VHF transmitter site. As well as the five Stanton shelters there used to be a few hut bases still visible. Not been down there for years but the corrugated structure looked like an Emergency Water Supply holder rather than a gun emplacement. It's positioning at the centre of the site would tend to bear this out I think.

Looks nice mate.
I was looking for this a couple of months ago but couldnt find it, ended up finding bourton mill instead which was a nice little explore.
Will have to check harder next time.
