Yeah, you’re right DD that’s the last of the decent bits gone, I think the owners are now going to have to be given permission for at least partial demolition and I personally wouldn’t argue if they flattened the whole site, if its not done, chances are it will go up in flames again.
When I was taking the pics I couldn’t quite get to where I needed to be to get the shot I wanted, so I asked one of the Firemen if I could go a wee bit past the cordoned area for a minute, he said “ok, wait a second” he then plonked a fireman’s helmet on me head, now I’m only a little fella and the damned thing weighed around 3k and at least two sizes too big, now I am only guessing mind but I am a wee bit suspicious that the nice fireman might just have bin taking the wee-wee, but I got the pic, anyone know what fireman’s helmets fetch on eBay
