Reginald Kenneth Dwight's mill

Or Elton Mill as it prefers to be known.
Water mill. Late C18 or early C19 extended and rebuilt, 'AD 1840' on gable plaque. Coursed limestone with freestone dressings, red brick and timber-frame weather-boarded.
It seems that it was opened up to the public after it closed as a mill. Don't think the public were too impressed as it's now full of Pigeon poop.

This place is up the road and is part of the Elton Estate. I almost got hit in the face by a startled Barn Owl going into the stable block!
