Back in the 70's I used to camp around there quite a lot. I went through Adit Nr 9 at that time, and it came out at the base of a huge hole, which when you clambered up through it put you on the lower slopes of Moelwyn Mawr. Some years later I had another look, but there had been considerable roof collapse, so clambering up the big hole was a no no.
