Darkzac and me were out checking the sights in the very early hours and passed this old power station, and we popped in.

Originally commissioned in 1962 as a coal fired plant, Richborough was later converted to oil then orimulsion (fuel based from Bitumen). It was closed in 1997.

Great little explore, not much left but worth the visit, any site with a large box marked Radioactive has got to be good
