RIP Machinists House, Surrey

Hey folks,

Been meaning to post this for a few weeks but completely forgot about it until I drove past yesterday.

The Machinists House has been demolished. Just thought I'd post a heads up incase anyone had this on their to do list.

Shocking then again it remained abandoned from 2012... Suprised the vandals didn't take the bricks, after this place went downhill..

I hope they kept the Singer sewing machines, the printing press, camera and the ornaments.

Most of that was long gone a year ago taken by thieves

Last time I was there someone had obviously moved (or at lease tried to move) the largest press. Someone had even taken the bottle of desert sauce!

Just wondering if it would be worth putting in a sub section in the forum(only a suggestion) so people put could updates on certain locations from there code names not saying name the places location chances are if you know the code name you know where it is anyway but still protects the site.

i.e maybe its been demolished or made in to a house or shop etc - that way people who want to visit certain sites can take one look and see if its on the list - i know from personal experince i have been to a lot of sites that have now completley gone or have been redeveloped - would save a lot of time and petrol and i think in the long run very helpful to everyone.
Just a suggestion.

Thanks for the suggestion but this isn't an urbex tour guide, the state a site is in at any given time is irrelevant here so whilst I don't mind people posting this stuff it's not going to get it's own section to encourage it.

I reckon it could cause confusion, especially with all the different codenames thrown about, (i am guilty of this) as I hate the names given to places, but an update in general forum should be enough, rather than an entire thread based on places no longer standing, the confusion is enough but with eye work you can find many buildings that are demolished now, or general search across google, check when last report was ect, after all the chase is all part of the fun!

I agree with Mockingbird, an update would be sufficient.
