Hi guys, so we went there. We took a massive walk through farm fields in order to get in round the side, but this was a big time-waste and was very muddy (next time we'll just walk around from the main entrance)! We got through the western most side - a temporary building-site fence spanned the perimeter, but it was bolted down to the ground. However, it was easily navigable by obvious means . Built in 1937, the art-deco water tower and the nice green clock-tower stood out, along with all the other old buildings. Demolition work had begun, and we saw two workers, a digger, and a van, but luckily they didn't see us. Many buildings near the centre/west were under demolition, and a few were piles of rubble. No doors were open and all buildings we visited were shuttered/boarded up, although there may have been some accessible ones to the east side of the site, although we didn't look here. One door was unlocked however, which was small and had chairs stacked up in it, as well as a table in the centre with some porno mags on it laid out as if whoever had just read them and disappeared - what the builders got up to at lunch eh! It was a good trip anyway. There will be video coverage to follow.
