Saving an old chateau

Hi everyone,

I'm the definition of a lurker, so this will be my first post! Let me start of by saying thanks to everyone for sharing their wonderful pictures

The reason of this topic is i ran into this blog where a family completely documents their restoration of an old, abandoned chateau. Thinking it might interest some of you I decided to post it here, I did do a search so I hope it isn't a repost

Thanks, really interesting, they must be seriously loaded!

I once stayed in chateau in the Loire valley, such a magical place which will leave me with superb memories... I often visit their website to look over what they are doing etc, it's now a b&b which initially disappointed me (we hired out the whole place from the family that owned it) I now realise it will stay in good repair and live on longer.
