Been loving the underground stuff you guys have been posting. Don't seem to have to many in Scotland. Do other explores find this to be the case. High on my list to do a few more this year. Would love to see more of old edinburgh

There are a good few underground sites in Scotland – old railway tunnels, limestone and lead mines, drains as well if that's your thing. Have a search on the net and you'll probably come across somewhere that looks interesting.

Most of the lime kilms are now housing estates have one 5mins down the road or they have been filled in. Done the 2 main railway tunnels and the one in Edinburgh is shut off now. Bunkers are my main goal and they are very hard to find in Scotland

There's plenty of coal mines if you have a gas detector, and are willing to swing a pick and shovel.

Is that Scotland Street Tunnel in Edinburgh closed off? There is a cold war bunker between Crail and Lochty but its a tourist area. Still got loads of 1960s stuff. There's also the Grampian Regional Council Emergency Centre at Tertowie House and Barnton Quarry Rotor SOC and RSG.

The tunnel that used to go down to Waverley station? That'd be a good one to see.

Scotland street tunnel shut off, Barnton Bunker is not being turned into a tourist attraction. Not sure about the CEC at tertowie house.

Apart from that most of the Scots Moles do not post the sites up, not in a competition with anyone as the just don't really care to be honest !

No they are just busy doing their thing little else most don't even take pictures. They don't even do forums mostly, just pointing out a fact !
