Sadly no, (as the walkway up the lefthand side did look very tempting) ;) Mainly because someone would be bound to call the police thinking I was going to jump and top myself :mrgreen:

I would guess it would be fine to do it in Hi-Viz & Helmet get up ;)
 
Nice one Stesh, hard to belive that this was in use until the early 80's. I guess the council will just wait unitl it rusts into the Tyne:mrgreen:
 
Great looking bridge :) I'm guessing the trains had to reduce speed when crossing it.
 
Nice one. I think they should plank it over for cyclists to use. That Scotswood roadbridge is a nightmare for cyclists.
