visited here with aquanuke yesterday we had a really enjoyable day. I couldn't quite get my head round how big the place is. The mazes of corridors are just simply amazing really easy to get lost in. just as we were about to leave seca caught us he was actually a nice bloke and we even had a laugh with him.

here is some history from wikki

The 300-acre (1.2 km2) site housed some 2000 patients and was based on the "Echelon plan" - a specific arrangement of wards, offices and services within easy reach of each other by a network of interconnecting corridors. This meant that staff were able to operate around the site without the need to go outside in bad weather. Unlike modern British hospitals, patients in Severalls were separated according to their gender. Villas were constructed around the main hospital building as accommodation blocks between 1910 and 1935. Most of the buildings are in the Queen Anne style, with few architectural embellishments, typical of the Edwardian period. The most ornate buildings are the Administration Building, Larch House and Severalls House (originally the Medical Superintendent's residence).

here are my pics i hope you enjoy them :)

I'm so looking forward to getting my feet inside of this place!

Great pics and thanks for posting them :)

Great stuff Sparky, had a great day from start to finish and got some great photos. Cant wait for the next one and will get my pics up shortly.

Great stuff guys and good to see you got around so much of the site.

I’ve deleted a few duplicates from the post and you still have 63 pics remaining which is way over pic heavy and need to whittle it down to your best pics.

If I’ve covered a large or interesting location I go a bit over the odds recommended & post up to forty.
More isn’t always good and would appreciate you whittling it down to a more manageable level.

A guide to posting a location report.
