I'm just starting to learn about this building and I'm now realising that i probably should NOT have gone on my own! but I think i was lucky that day.

It's been in the same state for as long as I can remember and recently i decided to go have a look. To be honest I thought it was a bit of let down as most origioanl items of the building had been removed or smashed to bits. so there was'nt really any real history there apart from the most recent dwellers. I'm trying to find an article at the moment about a very serious crime that happened here perhaps five years ago. shame really.

I did however find an old till that amazed me so I took a couple of shots. hope you like them!

This place must be listed and I hope something is done with it as there seems to be a new development bye it on the cards for the future. If it was me? Id like to use it for local artists to exhibit there work, use it as film sets etc

To post pictures from Flickr you need to click "All Sizes" at the top of your Flickr picture. You will be given a choice of sixes- pick Medium or Large.

Copy the shorter piece of code that appears under the picture, it will start something like "Farm5static"

Then you come back here and click the "Insert Picture" icon. Paste your picture location into there and click "Ok". You might want to put a link to the photo's page underneath, this lets people see a larger version if they want to.

This is the old railway warehouse, Xander, parts of it are full of syringes and obviously not somewhere you'd want to be alone after dark, lone explores of an unknown place are generally not a great idea, an interesting place though, did you get up to the roof? some good views from up there.

Yeah I went there on a perfect blue sky day so in the darker parts it was easier to get my bearings but still, I hear you kaputnik it's not the nicest of spots! The roof though was really pleasent i stayed up there for about an hour as the sun beat down.

sure it's behind Heart fm HQ. which is just before the bridge over to lady bay retail park. head towards snienton out of notts centre and it's pretty much on the railway tracks. I'm rubbish with directions to be honest but if you look for heart fm radio station in maps thats where it is.

i must say on this though...... i think i was a bit stupid going in there on my own after having learnt stories about this place! i've exploring for a good 6 ish years now but this particular one has a view bad stories so be very carefull mate! otherwise enjoy yer light painting ay!
