Sportplaz Mareinthal was built in 1924 and was home to Hamburg club SC Concordia until the end of the 2008/09 season

In 1952 the ground was brought up to its present standard for the visit of Borussia Dortmund in the cup

The record attendance was set on 10th January 1952 when 14,000 packed in for a match v Hamburg SV

Floodlights were erected for the start of the 1957/58 season

At it's time of closure the ground could hold 6500 spectators, including 800 seats.

I like this mate. Nice one. Any access to the changing rooms or bar?
