SPS Technologies is a American Company who up until 2008 had premises in Coventry, they manufacture all sorts of things for the automotive industry, the Coventry plant manufactured gears, piston's and fastener's etc. After some downsizing in the 90's they rented part of the site to Stonegalleon plc who are importers of things such as Christmas decorations. SPS technologies withdrew from the site in 2008 and because of this Stonegalleon also relocated, since then the site has remained empty. It is quite a large site but pretty much all empty of machinery but has a lot of old boxes of decorations and stuff , I think it may have originally been part of the Motor Panels site, which it is attached to but I am not certain of this.
This is the second time I have visited, the first being May 2009 although only half of it was accessible.
Other parts of the site are now do-able but sadly it has been quite trashed now, the offices were mint last year but now sadly most of the glass corridors have been trashed.
You can see pictures from last year here
