Starting with the 3rd in the row of WW1 pillboxes on the Humber wall

Next south foundations above to the left over where the chimney like groove is are the steps to ?

Next in line a bunker of some sort with a partly collapsing ceiling

Then a bigger bunker which was pretty bare inside and had four of these vents on the outside ?

Behind this is yet another gun emplacement with just visible holdfast bolts and a strange set of steps at one end

Then we found the fourth CASL almost buried now

There was one more building to check out from looking on GE but on the way to it we found another air raid shelter only accessable from one end

Then the building we were looking for with a mounting of some sort inside

And a smaller on next to it with only one doorway

Lastly on the way back to the path a nice surprise we almost walked by some type of covered trenchwork lined with corrugated iron,Couldnt get to the entrance though

Really enjoyed all reading your trips to Spurn. There used to be some old graf from the '40's in the shelters & in a couple of bunkers but I'm going back a good 20 years. Fascinating place is Spurn. I guess you're next trip will be to the Bull Fort then! Thanks for sharing. :)

Really enjoyed all reading your trips to Spurn. There used to be some old graf from the '40's in the shelters & in a couple of bunkers but I'm going back a good 20 years. Fascinating place is Spurn. I guess you're next trip will be to the Bull Fort then! Thanks for sharing. :)

Theres still some period graf in the room under the dunes at the Port War Signal Station wasnt sure wether to put that up as its been done before i think, dunno about bull fort though :)
