After a couple of fails I decided to see if I could find this place, I tracked it down and took a leisurely drive to the district!

It's been seriously trashed but still photogenic and entry wasn't too bad!

St Bonifaces social club was about to hit it's 50th Year but along came Covid, caused it to shut down and stay that way sadly!

Surprise, surprise - it's going to be demolished and flats put up in it's place! As per when? Who knows. But for a couple of years it has certainly over grown nature wise.

What with it being so close to the Irwell that has burst it's banks a few times over recent years - the new builds will be elevated slightly to (Hopefully) keep the water out!

St Boniface was an English Benedictine Monk was a leading figure in the Anglo-Saxon mission to parts of Germany in the 8th century. He was assassinated in 754.

I lost my remote so a few shots aren't so sharp I'm afraid, it turned up deep inside my camera case!

On with the pics!
