Nice one. Surprised the chapel is still accessible, seeing as my last visit in 2007 - the floor leading to it was a bit 'patchy' :).

Nice set of photos.

Looks the nutz, good job!

Done my first hospital yesterday but was not there long as some chav c*$ts set fire to the building next to us and all emergency services turned up, had to lay low for a while!

hehe, it's quite solid on that floor - its the ones above where it gets a bit patchy - you wanna try getting to the top of the lift shift / roof !

I have that exact same shot somewhere!

Can't beleive i've not been in the cellar yet tho. Meh, was easier when i lived 10mins away !!

Great pics.Glad to see its no worse than when we went last year:lol:.That mould in the cellar is legendary,I dont think I have ever seen anything quite like it anywhere before.
Its a great old place and its about time they got on with renovating it as "allegedly" planned.

I live only about 8 miles from this amazing place & have walked the footpath "through" it several times admiring the views. Despite my keen eye (& probable lack of experience) I've not spotted myself an "opportunity." All I've seen is miles of very painful looking razor wire! lol
I would be very keen to accompany anyone, armed with cameras, for a morning/day/afternoon out.
Of course I realise we should be "getting inside for ourselves" so I will keep exploring.
There's a nice old theatre/cinema/bingo hall/snooker club within shouting distance too.
Also, Stallington Hall (if it still stands) isn't a million miles away although it's in bad condition.

do you mean the one on Sandon Road? I used to live next door to that, and it's not derelict afaik (but you can see St Georges from the roof ;) )
