Explored with a non member recently, renovation is currently under way, we could hear the workmans generator running while we were inside, couldn't actually see or hear any workers though. I won't go into the history of the place as it has already been covered so often. A lot of the floors have been removed and there are doors and planks down in places to cross gaps, The old girl is looking more run down since the last time I visited, well worth a look around while you can, as who knows when all the work will be complete and it's lost to us. There are still some tunnels to explore in there, some are so small you can only just crawl through, so I don't think they would have been used for transporting any thing important. any way on with the pics, sorry for the quality, I currently only have a little 3.2 mega pixel digi cam. hope you enjoy

St. John's Asylum, Lincoln. Not sure why it's abbreviated in the thread title really!

Changed the title. probably should have used it's full name in first place seeing as how well known it is.
