Are the originals really that bad that you cant post them up..........???

That's what I'm thinking.

Good work on the explore; but I'd like to see what the place really looks like as you have some nicely composed shots. ;)

too much HDR for my liking but the exterior shots are good:)

Great pictures, but even by your own admission the HDR is quite over-used in this report. Any chance of seeing some of the originals?

i complety agree, really want to see the originals as looks like a good place just shame on hdr making it look like a video game

Well im sorry im going to have to disagree with the majority of people who have replied to this thread already, I must say i love the HDR used on these pictures i think they look great, lets face it we have all see pictures of nearly every inche of this location before why not have a different view of the safe place that we know and love as it were, its just someone else interpretation on a theme - nice one guys thanks for sharing.

lol each to there own,but just like to see a site as it is ie derelict and not altered  and my eyes really do hurt from over hdr making me feel like cartoon network

Thanks to everyone replies be it dissagreing or not!?
I'm not sure why there is so many HDR's, I am a photographer and it's what I enjoy doing, It's not that the orginal photos are rubbish it's just in such amazing places as these I like to pick up on allsorts of details and colours in the buildings and I find HDR's are a great way of doing that.
I mean don't forget I am a photographer exploring these places and the photos are for my pleasure and other peoples too, not just almost a site survey.

:)

I think the problem with overdone HDR is that it makes the place look unreal.
A couple of your shots are sublime, most of the others look cartoonish.

They are quite bright(if that is the correct word) HDR's but it can depend on diffrent lighting situations for example it was quite dark in most places around the building and to be honest I have seen much worse HDR's than this, people who seem to go a little crazy on smoothing and lumnisity!

I'm going to leave it at that, I love to explore the places, see the history and picture the things that have happend over the years and take photos in my own perspective.
I enjoy critque and everyone are entitled to there own opnions. :)
