Second visit of the place and second visit of the day. Don't know why, but love this place and we spent a couple of hours there (Some of it was just chatting on the roof (Not the tower) looking over Abercarn) My guests also loved the place but would not go up the tower.
There were also a couple of leather clad girls there, one taking photos of the other for a uni project.

Hi all, as I was cunning plans' guest on this trip I thought i'd add a few of mine to this thread. I really had a fantastic day and look forward to doing a few more like this. Thanks to cunning plan for the tour !!

Looks more like a fortress than a church this one.

I asked krela to open this back up as I have some news on the place. There was a report on here not so long ago where they said the site was being cleared. Well yesterday I took my 12 year old granddaughter to a couple of places including here (She has been to The Boys Village and the first place yesterday was Marys cottage)
Also, I belong to a camera club and a couple said they were here last weekend and there was a house being built on site, so that was another reason to have another look.
The whole of the place has more or less been cleared and they have even started to be clear out the church itself.
The new house is taking shape (Didn't take any photos) and I don't think this place will be as easy to access very soon.
For the first time you can now see the church from the front.

Blimey im amazed how much the land has been cleared - will it be knocked down or converted, its such a wonderful place.
